WRITTEN WORK: Name the Communication Element 

Read and analyze the scenario below. Then, identify the elements of communication found in the given communication scenario.

    In a meeting with the Sangguniang Barangay, Brgy. Capt. Rey Suarez addressed the need to distribute the relief goods. He spoke to Counselor Rita Perez and told her that the relief goods have to be given as early as possible tomorrow morning. However, because of the loud voices of the people around the hall, Counselor Rita failed to understand. She just nodded and said “Yes, Captain”.

1. Speaker/Sender: 

Brgy. Capt. Rey Suarez is the sender/speaker.

2. Message:

He addressed the need to distribute the relief goods.

3. Channel:

He spoke to Counselor Rita Perez about the relief goods in person.

4. Receiver:

Counselor Rita Perez is the receiver.

5. Barrier:

The loud voices of the people around the hall affected the exchange between Counselor Rita and Brgy. Capt. Rey.
