Authentic setting of communication

COMMUNICATOR 

- The communicators presented were Sen. Sonny Angara, who was interviewed after testing positive after his recovery, Dr. Susan Mercado, who was interviewed to elaborate the result, Raphael Bosano, the reporter/interviewer, and the interpreter.

MESSAGE

- The recovered patients of CoVid-19 can still test positive due to the remaining virus present within their bodies. Because of this, it is still recommended that everyone should practice precautionary measures, such as social distancing and avoiding social gatherings, in order to prevent the virus from spreading further.

MEDIUM

- The medium presented were verbal and non-verbal communication. Raphael Bosano, along with the interviewees, Sen. Sonny Angara and Dr. Susan Mercado, commnicated through speaking in order to deliver the news, while the sign language interpreter used hand gestures and body language to present the news.

RECEIVER

- The audience watching are the receivers as they watch the news in a form of linear communication. The reporter and interviewees are also receivers as they were involved in the transactional model of communication.

EFFECT

- The viewers of the news are given the extra knowledge about having remnants of the virus within the body while recovering. This makes them more aware of the situation in this pandemic which will cause them to strictly practice safety measures to avoid further spreading of the virus.
