How do you usually start a conversation?

    Starting a conversation usually depends on who, where, and why are we talking to that person. Thus, before engaging in a conversation, I always try to consider the environment and body language of the person I am going to talk to, so that I can avoid future communication breakdowns. I will also try to feel the atmosphere during the conversation, so that I can refrain from giving the wrong impression towards my peer. I always keep in mind that I should be cautious with my choice of words, as the person might not understand me during our conversion, such as using jargons and slang that they are not really aware of. These things will not only help me properly start a conversation, but also avoid miscommunications and insensitivity.
